Locke’s dad is on the island - whether it be a trick or actually him isn’t the question - what is the question is that Sawyer is going to have his shot at redemption. I think Jack will have a pig-headed reaction and exacerbate the situation. And I think Sawyer will be the only one to do something wise, possibly heroic and selfless. Sorry about the vagueness, but the creators of Lost have made it almost impossible to correctly guess what will happen. This is not your typical mystery show to solve, where all the clues are given - leaving the viewer to put them all together. Lost creators have purposefully left out vital pieces of the puzzle. The only way to predict any outcome on Lost is by what we know of the characters, which is what the creators are driving the show by.
