Dead Shaun of the Dead

I finally found a nearby art supply store! It’s in the same strip mall that my grocery store is at. I always thought it was a framing store. It was like walking in a slice of heaven. I bought a compact drawing board and more white charcoal pencils. I’m not digging on the paper I bought from Dick Blick. It’s too rough for my tastes. I’m going to stick with the kraft paper more; it’s smoother and I can cut it to any size I fancy.

Here’s a quick sketch of Shaun from Shaun of the Dead. It’s a little too rough, but I did it while watching the movie. I bought Spaced more than a week ago and finally finished both seasons, so I’ll be posting a review of that later.

Hehehe, this was just on this weekend…I was watching it will attempting to move more shit in my room. I’m sure you can figure out that there was not much moving, more watching…oh well.

    Hope you’re doing well. :)

That’s really bad ass man. Even though Shaun never became a Zombie… I like the interpretation of what it would have looked like.
BTW Which art store do you go to? Is it in Silver Spring? I’m going to try out this one in Annapolis tomorrow. I’m hoping it’s going to be worth the drive.

The one I go to is called Plaza Art Supply, it’s a chain (http://www.plazaart.com). Mine is at the end of Nutley St. in Vienna, Virginia, right off Rte 50. In the Pan Am Shopping Center.

Shaun never became a zombie, but I’m pretty sure Simon Pegg was a zombie in the movie. I think he was part of the zombies in the back of the Winchester. It looked that way on the extras, at least. Of course, that zombie wasn’t as messed up as mine. :)
