Artificial Graphics is owned and operated by Travis Estrella.
Travis Estrella is a Polymedia Artist. Talents include Illustration, Web Design, Print Design, Music and Sound Design, and occasionally copy writing.
With over 20 years in the design industry, Travis has a long list of accomplishments and clients. A few:
- Was the lead Illustrator at the Washington Post’s first online newspaper venture, Digital Ink – which ran during the mid-90′s. Emphasis on tiny story graphics to be delivered through dial-up modems.
- Was part of a team of guerilla visual effects artists that produced over 35 major effects on consumer Macintoshes with Adobe AfterEffects for the motion picture “Spawn” in one month.
- Produced motion graphics for a series of Photoshop training videos.
- Created dynamic screen-savers for Freeloader, Inc. The first company to effectively use Push technology to distribute news and information onto people’s desktops.
- Designed and created several “Groove Grams” for Thomas Dolby’s Beatnik company. Beatnik was a browser plugin and engine used to play short samples of music. Groove Grams enabled internet users to remix their favorite artists online and share their mixes with friends. Created Groove Grams for Nine Inch Nails, Moby, David Bowie, Brittany Spears, Smashmouth, Busta Rhymes, Lucy Pearl, Weird Al, and many others.
- Developed and maintained the UI for Photo Kiosk software used in camera shops and drugstores across the world.
